Recombinant DNA in Antigen Development
Immunization with recombinant DNA coding for the target antigen has shown promise in the generation of antibodies for difficult to express proteins. Instead of delivering a protein or peptide to the host, an expression vector encoding the protein (or protein fragment) is introduced. The vector subsequently produces the protein in vivo. Antibody Solutions has expertise in the design of high expression DNA plasmids and proprietary methods for immunization for antibody generation.
