Antibody Solutions commonly uses two types of high throughput screening platforms during the Monoclonal Antibody discovery phase: screening by ELISA or FIA, and screening by Flow Cytometry.

Antibody screening, titering and isotyping are important in-process and final antibody-testing steps in any custom antibody production project. These tests provide the information needed to decide which immunized animals or cell lines to select and continue, what dilutions and secondary reagents should be used in specific applications, and how the antibody can be effectively purified.

    We offer a battery of tests including:

  • Titering – measuring antibody concentration and functional assay potency
  • Isotyping – determining a monoclonal antibody class and subclass identity
  • Western Blot – determining the antibody’s ability to bind to a partially denatured antigen from SDS gel
  • Immunohistochemistry – ability of the antibodies to bind to antigen on frozen or fixed tissue sections
  • Immunofluorescence – ability of the antibody to the subcellular distribution of analyzed target proteins
